D & L Carinalli Vineyards officially began in 1996 with a dream to grow grapes for wine and eventually have our own labels. Below is the timeline of how our dream is coming true!

First harvest of Chardonnay, very small and without netting, the birds ate most of them
Planted 12 Acres of Pinot Noir.
Second harvest of Chardonnay.
Harvested Chardonnay.
Continued to grow and care for all grapes.
D & L Carinalli Vineyards is established.
Created our first label and bottled our 2003 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, Sonoma Coast.
Planted another 12 acres of Pinot Noir
Wine sales begin to grow for the D & L Carinalli Vineyard wines
Second label, Bottled 2004 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
Planted 13 acres of Pinot Noir
Planted 2 acres of Chardonnay
Became Russian River Valley appellation
Third label, Bottled 2005 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Planted 12 acres of Chardonnay
Planted 9 acres of Pinot Grigio, bringing our total acreage up to approximately 100 acres
Fourth label, Bottled our 2006 Chardonnay and 2006 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley Estate Wine
Fifth label, Bottled our 2007 Chardonnay and 2007 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley Estate Wine
Decided to make Vin Rose wine
Bottled our 2008 Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Estate Wine
Bottled our first 2008 Vin Rose, “Diane’s Delight”, California appellation
Harvested our first Pinot Grigio, Russian River Valley Estate grapes
